This project involved the complete rebranding of an existing Islands Bar & Restaurant in the heart of La Cumbre Plaza.  The exterior and interior renovation of a previous restaurant lease space involved a rework and upgrade of the existing commercial kitchen facility as well as new bar style and dining facilities for 230 patrons.  Interiors were developed to refresh and update the previous image, and the design team worked with the client to select surf, ocean and beach related imagery to compliment the tropical beach theme.  The exterior patio was modified to include new outdoor seating areas, fireside seating, radiant heaters, landscape and windscreens to separate the dining areas from the adjacent walkways.  The new look and feel is now being used as a template for new Islands Restaurants around the Southern California area.

A Santa Barbara style rebranding of an established Islands Bar & Restaurant
