DMHA had the privilege of designing Gene Vernon’s home, a Tuscan-style estate in the Santa Ynez Valley. As a longtime general contractor specializing in residential projects, Gene has ample experience building high-end, custom homes. With a detailed vision in mind, Gene would only accept premium architecture and exceptional craftsmanship. Our services included master planning, design, entitlement, permitting, and construction administration work. The project included a 6,000 square foot primary residence, 1,200 square guest house, outdoor pool house, and patio area. Using natural materials to bring warmth and texture, the home mirrors the beauty of the surrounding vineyard and embodies Gene’s commitment to excellence.

We had the honor of creating Channel Drive, a modern beachside residence for a high profile client. Adjacent to Butterfly Beach and a minute walk from the Biltmore Hotel, the property is located in one of the most sought-after locations within Montecito. With unobstructed Channel Island views, the home features seamless folding-glass wall systems which slide away to create the illusion of an outdoor living room. Owning multiple high-end resorts, our client expected exceptional design and sophisticated execution. The detailing of the house mirrors elements of a resort lobby interior: meticulous, elegant, and inspiring.
