2,000 s.f. Restaurant Renovation
Esau’s Cafe has been a breakfast institution in Santa Barbara for the past 50 years. It’s known as the “Surfer’s place” to eat and is also frequented by many who just love the food and local ambiance. Our design team was selected by the client, Scott and Arti Stanley, to create an authentic, warm, inviting and casual place to eat and enjoy all things cool about surfing. Utilizing cost effective backlit original surf artwork by local artist Rick Sharp and classic photographic images from the best surf photographers in the area, the design team developed a surf gallery interior complete with a suspended surfboard ceiling and decorative lighting.
